Hi, and welcome to my gallery! Like a Greek goddess, I have many names, and you may know me as either Sari, Sakse, Ceci, Emma, Evey, or one of a few others strewn across the internet.
Unfortunately, my likeness to a goddess ends there.
I'm still very happy that you found your way to this small part of the internet dedicated to my doodles, though. I mostly do it as a hobby and occassional side-hustle, but if you have an exciting project that you'd want me to be part of, feel free to reach out to me at p@srq.re, and we might be able to figure something out!
If you just want to browse my little gallery, you are also more than welcome. You will find a selection of pieces that I've done over the years, going back to 2013. Some of them are square metre paintings that took months to finish, and some are by comparison much quicker sketches. The ones from 2013 to 2018 are all digital, and from 2018 onwards they are all traditional media. I enjoy the slow and meditative process of working with graphite, charcoal, coloured pencil, and pastels, and feel privileged to have that luxury.
I hope you have a lovely time here, and wherever you go next!

The digital painting above, titled Orange Lady, is still to-date the longest I've spent on a single work of art. I did not time it, but counting by the number of months it took to finish, fifty to a hundred working hours is probably a good estimate. I was at the time adamantly opposed to the use of references, so the entire piece was done from imagination, which is quite clear when you inspect the various components.
I started it as an elaboration of the much simpler piece below, titled Chasing Butterflies, representing a deadly leap of faith. Orange Lady portrays an exhilarating freedom, but one that hangs by a thin thread.

My little gallery starts with a digital painting I did in 2013. I have enjoyed drawing since childhood, but when I did the painting above, I discovered the joy of spending a significant amount of time on a single piece. Like a meditation. This had a profound impact on my relationship with art ever since.
